A Special Meeting of the Board of Trustees of Newberry Electric Cooperative, Inc. was held at Newberry Electric Cooperative, Inc., located in Newberry County, South Carolina, on Tuesday, May 12, 2026.
The meeting was called to order at 5:30 p.m. by Chairman Johnnie Dickert, followed by President and CEO G. Keith Avery’s invocation, with the determination of a quorum present.

Also present were President and CEO G. Keith Avery and Attorney Thomas Pope, III.
Chairman Dickert moved to enter Executive Session to discuss the CEO evaluation. The motion was seconded and passed without objection.
After much discussion, a motion was made to come out of Executive Session. The motion was seconded and passed without any opposition. No voting or actions were taken during the Executive Session.
There being no further business and without objections, Chairman Johnnie L. Dickert adjourned the May 12, 2026, Special Board Meeting at 7:30 pm.
